Elcano uses Mixpanel to understand how users interact with the product (which features are used, which flows complete, which buttons are clicked). Mixpanel receives pseudonymous event data — not your resume text or personal identifiers beyond an account ID when you are signed in. These cookies are set only after you accept the cookie consent banner; declining the banner prevents Mixpanel from loading.

2. Third-Party Cookies

The following third-party services may set cookies when you use Elcano:

• Mixpanel: Product analytics. Sets cookies to associate events (analysis started, analysis completed, tab switched, upgrade clicked) with a session so we can measure feature adoption and conversion. Set only with your consent.
• Vercel: Hosting provider for the marketing site and web app. May collect anonymized performance and traffic data.
• Stripe: When you interact with payment forms (e.g., subscribing to Pro), Stripe may set cookies to facilitate secure payment processing and fraud detection.

Third-party cookies are governed by the respective providers' privacy policies.

Note: Disabling essential cookies (such as the Supabase auth token) may prevent the site from functioning correctly.
