By accessing or using Elcano ("the Service") at elcano.team, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
Elcano is an AI-powered resume analysis platform that provides:
Supported job families: Product Design, Software Engineering, Product Management — each with 4 seniority-specific role profiles.
You may use basic analysis features without an account. Creating an account (via Supabase Auth) enables analysis history, subscription management, and higher usage limits. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.
Payments are processed by Stripe. Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled via the Stripe Customer Portal. You may cancel at any time — access continues until the end of the current billing period.

Elcano provides career analysis for informational purposes only. Scores, role matches, and recommendations are algorithmically generated and should not be treated as professional career advice, employment guarantees, or hiring decisions. Results may vary based on resume content and are not guaranteed to be accurate or complete.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Elcano shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to lost profits, career outcomes, or data loss.
Elcano uses AI models (Anthropic Claude and OpenAI) to generate content including cover letters, optimized resumes, interview questions, and narrative insights. AI outputs are generated suggestions only. You are responsible for reviewing and verifying all AI-generated content before use. Elcano does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or suitability of any AI-generated output.
By using the Service, you acknowledge that your data may be processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy, which details our compliance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA). We do not sell your personal information. For details on data collection, retention, international transfers, and your rights, please refer to the Privacy Policy.
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time for violation of these Terms. You may delete your account at any time from the app settings — all associated data will be permanently deleted, including profiles, analysis runs, LLM generation records, and usage counters. You may also request account deletion by emailing elcanoteam@gmail.com.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. Material changes will be communicated via email to registered users.
